Transportation

At Country Lane Early Learning, we are committed to providing safe, dependable, and organized transportation services for children attending local schools and childcare activities. The safety and well-being of every child during transportation is always a top priority, consistent with Utah childcare licensing transportation standards (R430-90-20).

Transportation Services

• Transportation is provided to and from select schools as part of our childcare program.

• Current transportation services include Morning Star, Ensign Learning Center, and Vanguard Academy.

• A signed Transportation Permission form (part of the Admission Agreement) is required prior to any transportation services being provided.

• Transportation schedules and routes may occasionally change due to school schedules, weather conditions, road conditions, or program needs.

Transportation Safety Rules

• Children must remain seated while the vehicle is in motion.

• Seat belts and required safety restraints must be worn at all times.

• Children will be assigned seating arrangements and appropriate booster seats or child restraints according to Utah State safety laws.

• Children are encouraged to talk quietly and respectfully during transportation. Loud or disruptive behavior is not permitted.

• Food and drinks are not allowed in the vehicle for safety reasons.

• Children may not adjust windows, doors, or safety equipment unless directed by the driver.

• Children may not exit the vehicle unless instructed by the provider or driver.

• A mobile phone will be available in the vehicle for emergency communication.

Behavior & Safety Expectations

• If a behavior or safety concern occurs during transportation, the vehicle may be safely stopped so expectations can be reviewed with the child.

• Parents or guardians may be contacted regarding transportation behavior concerns.

• Repeated unsafe or disruptive behavior may result in suspension or removal of transportation privileges in order to protect the safety of all passengers.

• Families are encouraged to discuss transportation expectations and safety rules regularly with their child.

School Pick-Up & Drop-Off Procedures

• If a child is not present at the designated pick-up location, parents or guardians may be contacted to verify the child's whereabouts.

• Children transported to school are considered under the supervision of school staff once dropped off.

• Parents will be notified as soon as possible if delays, emergencies, weather concerns, or transportation issues arise.

Transportation Hours

• Morning Transportation: 6:45 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.

• Midday Transportation: 11:10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

• Afternoon Transportation: 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
