Parents are welcome anytime their child is in care

Country Lane Early Learning maintains an open-door policy. Parents and guardians are welcome and encouraged to visit, call, or check in on their child at any time their child is in care, without needing to schedule an appointment in advance.
Our Open-Door Commitment
Parents and guardians may visit their child at any time during program hours, for any reason, without advance notice.
Unannounced visits are welcomed as a normal part of an open, transparent childcare environment.
Open visitation reflects our belief that families should always feel confident and informed about their child's care.
This policy applies to any parent or legal guardian with custodial rights to the child, consistent with any custody documentation on file.
Visiting Your Child
Parents and guardians are welcome to observe, participate in activities, feed, comfort, or simply spend time with their child during a visit.
Visits may take place during meals, naptime, outdoor play, or any other part of the daily routine.
There is no limit to how often a parent or guardian may visit during a day, week, or month.
Families do not need to give a reason for a visit or seek permission ahead of time.
Guidelines for a Smooth Visit
Visitors should sign in upon arrival so the provider always has an accurate count of who is present, in keeping with licensing requirements.
Because Country Lane Early Learning operates out of a family home, we ask that visits stay calm and mindful of the other children still in care.
If a visit will involve removing the child from the premises early, the provider should be notified so records and sign-out can be updated.
Providers may briefly finish an immediate safety task, such as supervising a meal or diaper change already in progress, before greeting a visiting parent.
Safety & Access
For the safety of all children, only the enrolled child's parents, legal guardians, or individuals authorized in writing on the enrollment paperwork will be granted access during a visit.
Photo ID may be requested for anyone not already familiar to the provider.
If a custody order restricts a parent's access to a child, Country Lane Early Learning will follow the most current court documentation on file.
